Pamper Events

The pamper events are free, women only run events in conjunction with St Columba’s Free Church for women who are currently affected by homelessness in Edinburgh.

The events are held in the centre of Edinburgh, running for a couple of hours one evening during the week. We typically offer haircuts, massage, nail painting, clothing, toiletries and hot food and drinks.

If you would like to refer someone to come along to the next event, please email us at info@sparkle-sisters.org or use the link below to fill out the referral form. Please note that referrals for the next pamper event only open 2 weeks prior to the event.

The pamper events began with the desire to be more proactive when reaching out to the community. We aim to bring mercy ministry to the many visible and invisible women who want to find community and ultimately we hope and pray they come to know the love of Jesus in their lives. Our hope is to build up lasting and committed friendships that will provide a new community for the women of our city.

“I will always remember the first pamper night I went to, the clothes I was wearing that night were the only clothes I had! I felt loved, pampered and alive that night, I left not only with two huge bags of clothes and toiletries, and a warm and full tummy… I also left with a warm feeling of love, something I had not felt in a long time. Back in my room, I was so excited I tried out all the clothes, after they were washed and dried. I filled my once empty drawers and I felt like a princess with so many things. That was my first sparkle in a long time”.
